Health officials at the Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA have disinfected the carelessly discarded PPE and gloves used at Abba Kyari's funeral at Gudu cemetery in Abuja.

Dr. Kawu, who is the Acting Health Secrectary at the Federal Capital Territory Administration said when he saw the viral video showing one of the men who partook in the funeral proceedings taking off the Personal Protective Equipment he used and dumping it by the roadside, he contacted the Public Health department of the Health secretariat and the officials immediately visited the cemetery, picked the bag of the infected PPE and disposed them properly.

He said the cemetery officials have been identified, Isolated and tested to prevent further spread of Coronavirus by the men if by chance they have contracted it
